NERA CSEP
- In late 2018 National Energy Resources Australia (NERA) commenced a project (Collaborative Seismic EP Project) seeking strategic environmental approval for seismic activities in Northern Australia.
- The project has the backing of 11 petroleum/geophysical companies and aims to fundamentally transform and improve the way regulatory approvals are gained and maintained.
- A key objective of the project is to renovate and re-frame the way the commercial fishing and petroleum industries interact before, during, and after seismic activities are carried out.
- Millodon Consulting is proud to have been engaged by NERA as part of the CSEP Project Team, to drive the efforts in the diverse areas of Consultation and Technologies. It is our goal to make a positive difference in the way commercial fishing and the petroleum industry work together in a highly sensitive and much valued shared marine resource.
- We plan, through the NERA CSEP project, to help build and maintain policies, protocols and procedures, plus the tools to help implement them, for the long-term mutual benefit of both industry sectors.
